Blog Post #52- Updates to Instagram

As mentioned many times before, the marketing process is critical to attracting viewers to a film. I have been actively making updates to my Instagram making new posts to further market my project through social media, which is where most of my target audience resides. 

The first new Instagram post, shows the audience the actors that were selected for roles within my film. This shows the audience a total of 6 actors with images provided and who they are playing. I was able to make this post through Canva by first just opening a new blank page. After this, I added the color to the background and added textboxes to display the text that I wanted to provide to the audience. On the first slide of the post, the date that the film is releasing is visible so that the target audience is reminded of when the film is coming out.





The second new Instagram post shows 3 separate clips that were messed up when filming was attempted. The first clip was an attempt of a walking scene to the kitchen, the second clip was Alex forgetting his lines, and the third clip was Aiden messing up one of his lines while filming which caused the other actors to start laughing. I posted this because it would show the audience that there were errors before filming was perfected and to give the audience a look in to some of the behind the scenes activities that occurred during the process of filming.



I still need to continue adding more posts to my Instagram account before my film gets released because not having enough marketing can lead to low exposure of my film to the target audience.
