Blog Post #44- Instagram Post #2
For my second Instagram post, I decided to make a post that brings more attention to my film while making audiences think about what will occur in my film. To create this post, I had to use Canva and its ai services to bring my vision to life.
To make the general template of the idea that I had in mind for my post, I decided to use the generative ai resource on Canva to make a road that forks into 2 roads. I had to re generate the prompt about 3 times to finally get a template that was similar to the idea I had in mind. The original template that was generated from the ai showed the 2 roads with a beige background, and there was text within the 2 roads.
After generating my template I needed to make some adjustments to the template to make the post have relevance to my film. The first thing that I did was add the signs in between the 2 roads. I did this because it emphasizes to the audience that within my film, the main character will have 2 paths to choose from. After this, I moved the text from the road to above the sign because I felt as if it would be more appealing if it wasn't on the road. I also edited the text to say "Which path is right?". My reasoning behind this is that it would show the audience that there is a path that the main character will choose because he feels as if that path is the correct one for him. I then added my studio logo so that my brand is associated with the post and so the audience can know what studio will be producing the new film.
Having a variety of posts on my Instagram account will allow for me to bring more attention to the film through marketing and it allows me to interact more with the audience. These types of interactions also allow the audience to feel more connected to my studio which will be beneficial because this will attract more people to the short film.
