Blog Post #35- Initial Script for Equilibrium and Disequilibrium of my film

 Since my filming will be starting soon I realized that it was finally time to start creating my script for my short film to be prepared when the time for filming comes around. Since I am splitting up my days of filming between 2 days I thought that it would be best to split my script up into 2 parts as well. The first part of my script for the film will cover the equilibrium and disequilibrium of the film (boxes 1-6 on my storyboard) and the second part of my script will cover the new equilibrium (boxes 7 and 8).

The first page of the script introduces Alex's initial friends and shows them entering Alex's house. When they enter, Alex greets them and offers them drinks. They then start to have a conversation about a music artist.

The second page shows the continuation of the conversation regarding J. Cole which then gets interrupted by a knock on the door. This knock gets revealed to be Alex's neighbor who is very angry at the fact that the loud music has woken him up and complains to Alex.

The third page of the script shows Nolan and Jake leaving Alex's house. When this happens, Alex goes to his backyard to think about his decisions and what he should do for the future to make sure that he does not ruin his life.

The fourth page of the script shows Alex coming to the conclusion that he needs to stop doing illegal activities such as drinking because he needs to think about his future and he realizes that his friends may be bad influences on him.

My script will allow me to be more efficient when I need to create my film because the dialogue is already planned out rather than taking time on the day of production to think about all the dialogue that the characters would be saying within certain scenes.
